orta al Bagnano di Semifonte is a property in the heart of Tuscany, snuggling in the green of the Chianti hills between Florence and Siena.

Our guests are housed in the 18th Century farmhouse, built in 1874, which has been lovingly and carefully restored, keeping faith with its ancient and architecturally important structure. From the windows of the villa you can enjoy the view stretching from San Gimignano to Certaldo Alto, taking in the Castle of Santa Maria Novella, Lucardo and the Tower of Pogni.

Five large bedrooms are available for our guests, each with a private bathroom. Breakfast is held round a long walnut table in the ancient dining room with its enormous fireplace.

The farm is surrounded by a 32 hectare estate, with olive groves, vineyards and woodland where guests can go trekking, for quiet walks, or for mountain bike rides. Horseback riding is also possible from one of the local riding centres.

A small private swimming pool, constructed in the original old farmyard, is available for use.
